The North Carolina band, Cry Of Love, wanted to be identified with
their home and land, the roots of their music.

We shot at dawn, backlit. Then I found a negative from New Mexico
shot at sunset. Combined, the color washed from the dawn shot
and the color enhanced from the dusk shot, made a familiar,
yet unearthly vision of upland North Carolina.
